Difference between circular and linear economy

Today it is important to know the difference between linear and circular economy. This is essential especially for those who want to start a new production activity or optimize one that has already started. Lately, there has been a lot of talk about the climate emergency and the suffering of our planet but also about the scarcity of raw materials and the difficulty of disposing of waste. If in the linear economy the production of a good will usually produce waste or in any case a waste that almost certainly will not be reused in any way, in the circular economy we try to eliminate waste in favor of a greater eco-sustainability of the production process. The difference between linear and circular economy is precisely this: in the circular economy, the manufacturer has already thought about how to recycle or dispose of the waste that will be created after the object has been consumed/used. This passage, from one type of economy to another, also makes it possible to discover new production methods and often to improve existing ones.
